Workshop Diary - Digital Workshop, 28th October to 3rd November 2001

Day 4, Thursday 1st November

Hello all, it my turn to do the diary.

This is John and here he is enjoying the course. I have concentrated my photography on capturing people when they are relatively unaware. Using the digital camera I have been able to zoom in on people whist not invading their personal space or even sometimes their conscious vision.

Today has born the fruits of the last three days of tutoring and the printers have hardly kept up with our excitement for printing off our pictures and ideas.

This course in itself has been a brilliant and educationally good experience but on a par with that has been the fun and laughter that it has happened between the participants. From breakfast to bedtime the social side has been as important as the lectures. The picture above shows Michael participating with his usual enthusiasm.

Here I've shone some results of my experimentation within photoshop, you have complete control of the image and can make an otherwise ordinary image into something that could be exciting or even unrecognisable. What is the blue image below? (Win a haggis!!!).

Within this dairy entry are examples of my work that have been digitally produced or enhanced by me and my friend DELL.

This is me!
