Create – Relax – Enjoy

Workshops are very varied! There’s lots of inspiring instruction and demonstration, making and creating, plenty of informed feedback and discussion, and also many chances to enjoy Skye and the surroundings.

Workshops are fun and usually suitable for a wide range of ages, skills and experience. We have events for children, for families, and for skilled enthusiasts in many subjects. We aim to give you a creative, enjoyable experience in a beautiful setting with opportunities to learn in a relaxed environment.

Workshops range in length from a single day to longer than a week. Residential workshops usually start with an evening meal on the first day followed by 2 – 5 or more full days, leading to a celebratory conclusion the last evening, and breakfast the final morning.

Non-residential participants are welcome on most workshops, usually arriving for a 10 a.m. start and staying through to the evening meal.

All prices are fully inclusive of accommodation, meals, tuition and reasonable materials. Travel is included in many workshops.

For photographers, individual tuition is available to suit personal needs at agreed rates, and our large darkroom (35mm – 10 x 8 enlargers) is available for hire. Digital and library facilities are also available.
