Workshop Details and Biography
Land Art - Nicholette
Goff
Quiraing Lodge is a tranquil corner in which to think,
imagine and be creative. Land artist Nicholette Goff will lead
workshops using the shores and grounds around Quiraing Lodge as inspiration
to make sculptures and land imprints from natural materials.
We will look at the work of Andy Goldsworthy, Chris
Drury and other land artists.
We will read poems and other writings by artists who
have been inspired by Skye.
We will listen to the natural sounds, songs and music
of the area.
And we will look at other 2 and 3 dimensional work
by artists inspired by Skye.
Most importantly, we will have fun, be creative and
learn lots!
The week starts with a 2-day workshop for youngsters,
followed by a more involved workshop for adults over 3 days
